Common Trouble with Formac hard
drives
Sometimes the drive does not mount on the Mac
Desktop, or perhaps there has been accidental
deletion of files. Occassionally the drive remains
silent when powered up. Possibly smell of burning
from the pcb / electronics board. There is no
sound and it may shut down the computer it is
connected to.

One of our key computers crashed last Friday, after taking it to the place of supply - they said the hard disc was broken after
approximately six years of use. After speaking to Apex on Saturday
morning we took them the drive. Within 24 hours they had recovered the data and burnt it onto two DVD's, which they delivered back to us on Sunday -
so we could continue work normally on Monday. Apex technology provided
